Paediatric Occupational Therapy for Your Child
Occupational therapy can help children overcome learning difficulties

Every child is different.

As a parent of two children, I know how even the same kids – raised by the same parents, with the same genetics, in the same environment – learn new skills differently. For some children, this “art of learning” comes naturally. For others, a different approach is required to help them break new ground.

My name is Tracey Pope and I am an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist. I provide a mobile occupational therapy service to families and children in the suburbs of Western Sydney, including Blacktown, Parramatta and Hills Districts.

I specialise in Occupational Therapy Services for children. What I’ve discovered is, therapy in a naturalistic setting (such as the child’s home or preschool / school) brings many benefits to the child and the adults supporting the child.

These benefits include:

  • Increased opportunities for the therapist to work together with caregivers and / or educators in the natural environment to support your child.
  • Creation of individualized practical strategies to support your child in specific environments and with specific everyday tasks
  • Increased opportunities for your child to practice / generalise new skills in the natural setting and with peers/siblings
  • Greater convenience for parents / caregivers – I come to you!

Specifically, I have helped children with a wide range of challenges, including general developmental delay, Autism, PDD, Down Syndrome, learning difficulties, sensory processing difficulties, ADHD, Asperger’s Syndrome, motor coordination issues and low tone.
